WAG 12 Locomotive (WAG 12 रेल इंजन ) MADE IN INDIA

Indian Railway has made WAG 12 Locomotive. WAG 12 means WIDE AC GOODS 12000 HP. This locomotive is totally made in India and made in Madhepura loco factory(Bihar). India has become 6th Heavy hall locomotive producer country in the world. This is the world's first highest capacity Locomotive.

This locomotive is will work on an electric line.  This locomotive has been released for service from May 19, 2020. This locomotive can be run a speed of 120 KMPh with a load capacity of 6000 tonnes(Around 150 bogies). Total weight of this locomotive is 200 tonnes. This locomotive has an AC cab for pilots and inbuild toilets. This locomotive has been made with the assistance of Alstom french company as per the agreement signed in 2015. As per this agreement, both companies together will produce 800 locomotives by 2028.  

This locomotive will bring revolution in freight carriers. Using this locomotive load capacity and speed both will increase. This locomotive will help the railway to save lots of fuel consumption. This locomotive will be produced in Madhepura loco factory. There are 2 depots will take care for maintenance one depot is Saharanpur and second depot is Nagpur. 

Some features of the WAG12

• There are two permanently coupled units to each other in this locomotive. Both units have outward-facing units.
• These both units can be controlled from working cabins.
• Each cabin is having one pantograph. One pantograph will be raise once. which will supply power to both the Unit.
• Both units have a separate toilet.
• Both units are connected through gangway and vestibule. 
• The roof of the locomotive is empty expect pantograph. 
• The wheel diameter of this locomotive is larger than other locomotives. 
• Most of the Switches to control locomotive has been given in the Driver Display Unit. 
• Self aligns roller bearing tube drive has been given for the better suspension. 
• Very long-awaited "Break Blending facility" has been given in this locomotive. Where regenerative braking is insufficient, the pneumatic brake will be applied itself by the locomotive.

भारतीय रेलवे ने WAG 12 लोकोमोटिव बनाया है। WAG 12 का अर्थ है WIDE AC GOODS 12000 HP। यह लोकोमोटिव पूरी तरह से भारत में बना है और मधेपुरा लोको फैक्ट्री (बिहार) में बनाया गया है। भारत दुनिया में 6वां हैवी हॉल लोकोमोटिव उत्पादक देश बन गया है। यह दुनिया की पहली उच्चतम क्षमता लोकोमोटिव है।

यह लोकोमोटिव इलेक्ट्रिक लाइन पर काम करेगा। इस लोकोमोटिव को 19 मई, 2020 से सेवा के लिए जारी किया गया है। इस लोकोमोटिव को 6000 टन भार क्षमता (करीब 150 बोगियां) के साथ 120 केएमपीएच की गति से चलाया जा सकता है। इस लोकोमोटिव का कुल वजन 200 टन है। इस लोकोमोटिव में पायलटों के लिए एसी केबिन और इनबिल्ट टॉयलेट्स हैं। इस लोकोमोटिव को 2015 में हुए समझौते के अनुसार एल्सटॉम फ्रेंच कंपनी की सहायता से बनाया गया है। इस समझौते के अनुसार, दोनों कंपनियां मिलकर 2028 तक 800 इंजनों का उत्पादन करेंगी।

यह लोकोमोटिव माल वाहक में क्रांति लाएगा। इस लोकोमोटिव के उपयोग से भार क्षमता और गति दोनों में वृद्धि होगी। यह लोकोमोटिव रेलवे को बहुत सारे ईंधन और समय की खपत को बचाने में मदद करेगा। यह लोकोमोटिव मधेपुरा लोको कारखाने में निर्मित किया जाएगा। इसके रखरखाव - देखभाल के लिए 2 डिपो है एक डिपो सहारनपुर और दूसरा डिपो नागपुर है।

WAG12 की कुछ विशेषताएं

• इस लोकोमोटिव में दो स्थायी रूप से युग्मित इकाइयाँ हैं। दोनों इकाइयों में बाह्य-सामने की इकाइयाँ हैं।
• इन दोनों इकाइयों को कामकाजी केबिन से नियंत्रित किया जा सकता है।
• प्रत्येक केबिन में एक पैंटोग्राफ है। एक बार एक पेन्टोग्राफ उठाया जाएगा। जो दोनों यूनिट को बिजली की आपूर्ति करेगा।
• दोनों इकाइयों में एक अलग शौचालय है।
• दोनों इकाइयां गैंगवे और वेस्टिबुल के माध्यम से जुड़ी हुई हैं।
• लोकोमोटिव की छत खाली है उम्मीद है कि पेंटोग्राफ।
• इस लोकोमोटिव का पहिया व्यास अन्य लोकोमोटिव से बड़ा है।
• लोकोमोटिव को नियंत्रित करने के लिए अधिकांश स्विच ड्राइवर डिस्प्ले यूनिट में दिए गए हैं।
• बेहतर सस्पेंशन के लिए सेल्फ अलाइनर्स रोलर बेयरिंग ट्यूब ड्राइव दिया गया है।
• इस लोकोमोटिव में बहुत लंबे समय से प्रतीक्षित "ब्रेक ब्लेंडिंग सुविधा" दी गई है। जहां पुनर्योजी ब्रेकिंग अपर्याप्त है, लोकोमोटिव द्वारा वायवीय ब्रेक को स्वयं लागू किया जाएगा।
