Indian Railways is the fourth-largest network in the world. It runs more than 13,523 trains daily on including long-distance and suburban routes. Which carries 23 million passengers a day and around one billion metric tonnes of freight moved from one place to another place. In Past few years Indian Railway has made its focus on Infrastructure to expand its network i.e. DFC, Chenab Bridge, T-49 terminals, Pirpanji Terminals etc. Chenab bridge will be the highest rail bridge in the world. The hight of this bridge will be 359 meters. This bridge is being constructed on the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail project. The cost of this project is around INR 1,250 crore. Around 1300 workers and 300 engineers are involved to construct this bridge. The steel arch of the bridge has 467 meters in length and is already completed.
