World's Highest Rail Bridge - Chenab Bridge (विश्व का सबसे ऊंचा रेल ब्रिज - चेनाब ब्रिज)

Indian Railways is the fourth-largest network in the world. It runs more than 13,523 trains daily on including long-distance and suburban routes. Which carries 23 million passengers a day and around one billion metric tonnes of freight moved from one place to another place. 

In Past few years Indian Railway has made its focus on Infrastructure to expand its network i.e. DFC, Chenab Bridge, T-49 terminals, Pirpanji Terminals etc. 

Chenab bridge will be the highest rail bridge in the world. The hight of this bridge will be 359 meters. This bridge is being constructed on the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail project. The cost of this project is around INR 1,250 crore. Around 1300 workers and 300 engineers are involved to construct this bridge. The steel arch of the bridge has 467 meters in length and is already completed. 

Below are some interesting points for the Chenab River

• The hight of the 359 meters is and its 35 meters taller than Eiffel Tower. 
• The complete length of the Chenab Bridge is 1.315 KM. At both ends of the bridge, there will be stations. 
• The bridge is made in the earthquake-prone Seismic IV zone. This bridge has been designed in the way to stand with an earthquake force. 
• The bridge has been designed "Blast-proof" with the support of DRDO.
• This bridge will support the train os speed up to 100 KMPH and the life span of the bridge will be 120 years. 
• As the bridge is over a deep gorge, this bridge will be able to withstand wind velocity up to 266 KMPH.  
• The Chenab Bridge arch is made up after stabilising the slope of mountain supporting. 
• There are already so many deadlines that has been crossed to complete this task because of owning challenge of young fold mountains and fluctuating climate.

भारतीय रेलवे दुनिया का चौथा सबसे बड़ा नेटवर्क है। यह लंबी दूरी और उपनगरीय मार्गों सहित प्रतिदिन 13,523 से अधिक ट्रेनें चलाता है। जो एक दिन में 23 मिलियन यात्रियों को ले जाता है और लगभग एक बिलियन मीट्रिक टन माल एक जगह से दूसरी जगह जाता है।

विगत कुछ वर्षों में भारतीय रेलवे ने अपने नेटवर्क यानी डीएफसी, चेनाब ब्रिज, टी -49 टर्मिनल, पीरपंजी टर्मिनल आदि का विस्तार करने के लिए इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर पर अपना ध्यान केंद्रित किया है।

चेनाब पुल दुनिया का सबसे ऊंचा रेल पुल होगा। इस पुल की उचाई 359 मीटर होगी। इस पुल का निर्माण उधमपुर-श्रीनगर-बारामूला रेल परियोजना पर किया जा रहा है। इस परियोजना की लागत लगभग 1,250 करोड़ रुपये है। इस पुल के निर्माण के लिए लगभग 1300 कर्मचारी और 300 इंजीनियर शामिल हैं। पुल के स्टील आर्च की लंबाई 467 मीटर है और यह पहले से ही पूरा हो चुका है।

नीचे चेनाब पुल  के लिए कुछ दिलचस्प बिंदु हैं

• पुल 359 मीटर की ऊँचाई है और यह एफिल टॉवर से 35 मीटर लंबा है।
• चिनाब ब्रिज की पूरी लंबाई 1.315 KM है। पुल के दोनों छोर पर स्टेशन होंगे।
• यह पुल भूकंप से प्रभावित, भूकंपीय IV क्षेत्र में बना है। इस पुल को भूकंप के सामने बल के साथ खड़े होने के तरीके से डिजाइन किया गया है।
• पुल को DRDO के समर्थन से "ब्लास्ट प्रूफ" डिजाइन किया गया है।
• यह पुल 100 KMPH तक की ट्रेन की तेज गति का समर्थन करेगा और पुल का जीवन काल 120 साल होगा।
• जैसा कि पुल एक गहरी खाई के ऊपर है, यह पुल 266 KMPH तक के तेज वायु वेग का सामना करने में सक्षम होगा।
• चेनाब ब्रिज आर्च पहाड़ के ढलान को स्थिर करने के बाद बनाया गया है।
• यह पुल पहले से ही बहुत सारी तय समय सीमाएं पार कर चुका हैं जो युवा तह पहाड़ों और उतार-चढ़ाव वाली जलवायु की चुनौती के मालिक होने के कारण इस कार्य को पूरा करने के लिए पार कर गए हैं।
