Indian Railway inside and beyond border (भारतीय रेलवे सीमा के अंदर और बाहर)

Indian Railway is the worlds fourth-largest Rail Network in the World after the USA, China and Russia. Indian Railway is not limited to its boundary only. Indian Railway provides its service beyond the border to the neighbour country also. Let's have a look at that

Samjhauta Express: Between India - Pakistan 

This train was started on 22 July 1976 just after India and Pakistan signed the Shimla Agreement. Earlier it was running between Amritsar to Lahore when it started. But later in 1980 Government of India decided to terminate it's up to Atari Border at India side on India Pakistan Border. 

At starting this train was running on a daily basis but later on its made bi-weekly Monday and Thursday. The route for this train is below

This train service has stopped much time in past also. Currently, this train service is totally terminated. After the revocation of article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. To opposing this Pakistan had decided to terminate the service. 

Link Express: India - Pakistan

This is another international passenger train between India and Pakistan. This train was started in 2006 and it is a weekly train between 

Jodhpur - Munabao. This train starts from Bhagat ki Kothi (Outer Jodhpur) to Zero Point. This train starts From Bhagat ki Kothi at 01:00 AM and reaches Munabao at 07:00 AM covering a distance of 325 KM without any stop. After reaching there it happens immigration and customs checks. Thereafter it reaches Zero point at 2:00 PM covers the distance of 3 KM crossing Pakistan Border for their immigration and custom and after that Pakistan railway takes the passenger further to Karachi covering the distance of 202 KM. 

In returning Indian train starts from Zero points at 12:00 PM and reaches Munabao for immigration and customs checks, after that it leaves at 7:00 PM and reaches Bhagat Ji Kothi at 11:50 PM.

Currently, this train is also cancelled for the political tension. 

Maitree Express: India - Bangladesh

Matriee express runs from Kolkota (India) to Dhaka (Bangladesh) 6 days in the week except for Thursday from both sides. This train was started on 14th April 2008. Earlier this train was running between these 2 countries but it was stopped in the British era. In 2008 this route reestablished after 43 years. This train starts from Kolkata morning at 07:00 AM and reached Dhaka at 04:05 PM. There is no stoppage between this route. This train is totally AC. 

To start this train concept got a hike in  February 2007 when foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee visited Dhaka. On 8th July 2007, first test run train went to Dhaka from Kolkata with Indian Government officials to meet Bangalsehi minister to finalise and train schedules and route. In response to the security part India side, it demanded that a box- fencing system to be made both sides on the no-mans-land between these two countries. 

Bandhan Express: India - Bangladesh

Band express is also another international train which runs between India (Kolkata) to Bangladesh (Khulna). This is another AC train to Link India and Bangladesh. This train runs bi-weekly from both the side and covers a distance of 172 KM. Before booking a ticket for this train your required to have a valid visa and passport. It starts 07:10 and reaches 12:30 noon. The route for the same is below

Bangladesh Side

There are no immigration and customs checks on the international border between India and Bangladesh. The train tickets can be booked at Chitpur station in Kolkata from India side and Khulna station from Bangladesh side.

भारतीय रेलवे संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका, चीन और रूस के बाद दुनिया में चौथा सबसे बड़ा रेल नेटवर्क है। भारतीय रेलवे केवल अपनी सीमा तक सीमित नहीं है। भारतीय रेलवे अपनी सेवा सीमा से परे पड़ोसी देश को भी प्रदान करता है। आइए इस पर एक नजर डालते हैं

समझौता एक्सप्रेस: ​​भारत - पाकिस्तान के बीच

यह ट्रेन भारत और पाकिस्तान द्वारा शिमला समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर करने के ठीक बाद 22 जुलाई 1976 को शुरू की गई थी। पहले जब यह शुरू हुई थी तब यह अमृतसर से लाहौर के बीच चल रही थी। लेकिन बाद में 1980 में भारत सरकार ने भारत पाकिस्तान सीमा पर अटारी बॉर्डर तक इसे समाप्त करने का निर्णय लिया।

शुरुआत में यह ट्रेन दैनिक आधार पर चल रही थी, लेकिन बाद में सोमवार और गुरुवार दो दिन इसे चलाया जाना लगा । इस ट्रेन का मार्ग नीचे है

भारत की ओर

 ट्रेन बदलें यहाँ से सवारी ट्रैन बदल कर पाकिस्तान की ट्रेन में बैठते हैं

• लाहौर

इस ट्रेन सेवा को अतीत में भी बहुत समय रोका है। वर्तमान में, यह ट्रेन सेवा पूरी तरह से समाप्त हो गई है। जम्मू और कश्मीर में धारा 370 के निरस्त के बाद इसका विरोध करने के लिए पाकिस्तान ने सेवा समाप्त करने का फैसला किया था।

लिंक एक्सप्रेस: ​​भारत - पाकिस्तान

यह भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच एक और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय यात्री ट्रेन है। यह ट्रेन 2006 में शुरू की गई थी और यह जोधपुर - मुनाबाओ के बीच एक साप्ताहिक ट्रेन है। यह ट्रेन भगत की कोठी (आउटर जोधपुर) से जीरो पॉइंट तक जाती है। यह ट्रेन भगत की कोठी से 01:00 बजे शुरू होती है और 07:00 AM पर बिना किसी रोक के 325 KM की दूरी तय करती है। वहाँ पहुँचने के बाद यह आव्रजन और सीमा शुल्क जाँच होता है। इसके बाद यह 2:00 बजे शून्य बिंदु पर पहुंचता है। पीएम ने अपने आप्रवास और रिवाज के लिए पाकिस्तान बॉर्डर को पार करने के लिए 3 KM की दूरी तय की और उसके बाद पाकिस्तान रेलवे ने यात्री को 202 KM की दूरी तय करते हुए कराची की और ले जाता है।

वापसी में भारतीय ट्रेन रात 12:00 बजे जीरो पॉइंट्स से शुरू होती है और इमिग्रेशन और कस्टम चैक के लिए मुनाबाओ पहुँचती है, उसके बाद यह 7:00 PM पर रवाना होती है और 11:50 बजे भगत जी कोठी पहुँचती है।

वर्तमान में, यह ट्रेन भी राजनीतिक तनाव के लिए  रद्द है।

मैत्री एक्सप्रेस: ​​भारत - बांग्लादेश

मैट्री एक्सप्रेस दोनों पक्षों से बृहस्पतिवार को छोड़कर सप्ताह में 6 दिन कोलकाता (भारत) से ढाका (बांग्लादेश) तक चलती है। इस ट्रेन को 14 अप्रैल 2008 को शुरू किया गया था। पहले यह ट्रेन इन 2 देशों के बीच चल रही थी लेकिन इसे ब्रिटिश काल में रोक दिया गया था। 2008 में इस मार्ग को 43 साल बाद फिर से स्थापित किया गया। यह ट्रेन कोलकाता से सुबह 07:00 बजे शुरू होती है और 04:05 बजे ढाका पहुंचती है। इस मार्ग के बीच कोई ठहराव नहीं है। यह ट्रेन पूरी तरह से ए.सी. है | 

इस ट्रेन की अवधारणा को चलाने के लिए फरवरी 2007 में विदेश मंत्री प्रणब मुखर्जी ने ढाका का दौरा किया। 8 जुलाई 2007 को, बंगलादेशी मंत्री से मिलने और ट्रेन शेड्यूल और रूट को पूरा करने के लिए पहली टेस्ट रन ट्रेन भारत सरकार के अधिकारियों के साथ कोलकाता से ढाका गई। भारत के सुरक्षा पक्ष के जवाब में, उसने मांग की कि इन दोनों देशों के बीच नो-मैन्स-लैंड पर एक बॉक्स-फेंसिंग सिस्टम बनाया जाए।

बंधन एक्सप्रेस: ​​भारत - बांग्लादेश

बैंड एक्सप्रेस एक अन्य अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ट्रेन भी है जो भारत (कोलकाता) से बांग्लादेश (खुलना) के बीच चलती है। यह भारत और बांग्लादेश को जोड़ने के लिए एक और एसी ट्रेन है। यह ट्रेन दोनों ओर से द्वि-साप्ताहिक चलती है और 172 KM की दूरी तय करती है। इस ट्रेन के लिए टिकट बुक करने से पहले आपके पास एक वैध वीजा और पासपोर्ट होना आवश्यक है। यह 07:10 से शुरू होता है और दोपहर 12:30 तक पहुंचता है। इसका मार्ग नीचे लिखा है

भारत और बांग्लादेश के बीच अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सीमा पर कोई आव्रजन और सीमा शुल्क की जाँच नहीं होती है। ट्रेन के टिकट भारत के कोलकाता से चितपुर स्टेशन पर और बांग्लादेश की तरफ से खुलना स्टेशन से बुक किए जा सकते हैं।
