TTE cannot disturb you After 10 PM
TTE can not disturb you after 10 PM (except the special case). Verification of the must-have to complete before 10 PM. If a passenger is boarding the train after 10 PM then TTE is authorized to check his ticket.
Rule of MRP on a packaged food item
As per the Indian Railway Act 1989, IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and tourism and Corporation) authorized food vendor can not sell packed Food/water items more than MRP. Doing this is an offence. If you find anyone doing this you can be registered a complaint on 139 or 1800111321. The vendor will get penalized and may lose his licence.
Full fare refund on Shorter Terminated Routes
Sometimes many train journey gets short-terminated because of technical Problems/Natural Calamities problems. In such a case, if Railway doesn't have backup arrangements then Railway will pay you a full fare refund.
However, if you are not willing to take the alternate train then the fare for the travelled section will be deducted and the remaining amount will be paid to you after handing over a ticket to the station master.
What about your reservation if you missed your train at boarding station
As per the rules of the Indian Railway, you should mention your boarding point while booking the ticket. But as per rule TTE can allocate your berth to another person after two upcoming stations or one hour whichever comes first from your boarding station. Once the Train crossed upcoming stations or timeline TTE is free and authorized to allocate that seat to the next RAC passenger.
Refund Policy of Lost Tickets
If you have lost or misplaced your ticket for an upcoming journey ticket. There is an option to get a duplicate ticket to continue with your planned journey. To get the duplicate ticket you have to give a written application to Cheif Reservation Supervisor at the boarding station and request him/her to issue a duplicate ticket. Along with the application, you must carry a xerox copy of your/Passenger identity card. it may be asked you to attach the same with the application. This ticket can be issued before 24 hrs of the journey time. After all the verifications duplicate ticket will be issued with minimal charge. Once the ticket is issued there will be no further alteration on the same.
One more thing that there is no refund on the lost or misplaced ticket.
Rules for Carrying Pets on Train journey
Dogs - Dogs are allowed to travel with you if you are travelling in a first-class AC compartment. Where a dog can be kept close to you. If you are travelling with another class in that case it will be held as luggage and travel in the Brake or Luggage car. They can be allowed in another coach when it is treated as the seeing eye of a blind person. you have to seek the consent of fellow passengers. But you have to make sure that it should not be any cause of nuisance for fellow co-passengers. To carry a dog on the train you have to take a booking slip from the parcel office for your Dog. This slip is necessary while travelling the journey. The charge can be from Rs.10 onwards upon the dog size.
Birds - You are not allowed to carry a bird with you while making a journey in the regular coach. Your bird will be treated as freight and placed in a luggage van. You have to fill up a form where you have to mention the details about birds I,e, no. of birds, value, cage size etc. As an owner, it's your responsibility to provide food and water in transit.
Note: Indian railway doesn't permit transportation of exotic bird species which falls under this category.

जैसा कि आप सभी जानते हैं कि भारतीय रेलवे भारत में सबसे बड़ा यात्रा का साधन है। एक यात्री होने के नाते कई लोगों को कुछ नियमों की जानकारी नहीं होती है। इन नियमों को जानने से आपको अपनी यात्रा के बारे में होने वाली चिंताओं को हल करने में मदद मिलेगी। आइए उसी पर एक नजर डालते हैं।
ट्रेन में सवार यात्री अपनी यात्रा का विस्तार कैसे कराएं
कई यात्रियों को सीट की अनुपलब्धता के कारण ट्रेन में अंतिम गंतव्य के लिए टिकट नहीं मिल पाता है। अंतिम गंतव्य के लिए टिकट पाने के लिए भारतीय रेलवे के पास इसके लिए भी एक नियम है। ट्रेन में चढ़ने के बाद आप गंतव्य से पहले अपनी यात्रा टिकट का विस्तार करने के लिए टीटीई से संपर्क कर सकते हैं। टीटीई अतिरिक्त किराया एकत्र करके आपको एक विस्तारित यात्रा टिकट जारी करेगा। विस्तारित जारी टिकट में एक अलग बर्थ प्राप्त करने का मौका हो सकता है।
स्लीपर कोच में सोने का समय
10 बजे के बाद TTE आपको परेशान नहीं कर सकता
रात 10 बजे (विशेष मामले को छोड़कर) के बाद टीटीई आपको परेशान नहीं कर सकता। टिकट परीक्षण का काम 10 बजे से पहले पूरा करना होगा। यदि कोई यात्री रात 10 बजे के बाद ट्रेन में सवार होता है तो टीटीई को उसके टिकट की जांच करने के लिए अधिकृत किया जाता है।
पैकेज्ड फूड आइटम पर MRP का नियम

अल्पकालिक स्थगन रूट पर पूरा किराया रिफंड
कभी-कभी तकनीकी समस्याओं / प्राकृतिक आपदाओं की समस्याओं के कारण कई ट्रेन यात्राएँ अल्पकालिक हो जाती हैं। ऐसे में अगर रेलवे में बैकअप की व्यवस्था नहीं है तो रेलवे आपको पूरा किराया रिफंड देगा।
हालांकि, यदि आप वैकल्पिक ट्रेन लेने के इच्छुक नहीं हैं, तो तय यात्रा खंड के लिए किराया काट लिया जाएगा और शेष राशि का भुगतान स्टेशन मास्टर को टिकट सौंपने के बाद किया जाएगा।
यदि आप अपने बोर्डिंग स्टेशन से चूक गए तो आपके आरक्षण का क्या होगा
भारतीय रेलवे के नियमों के अनुसार, आपको टिकट बुक करते समय अपने बोर्डिंग पॉइंट का उल्लेख करना चाहिए। लेकिन नियम के अनुसार टीटीई दो आने वाले स्टेशनों के बाद या आपके बोर्डिंग स्टेशन से जो भी पहले आए एक घंटे के बाद किसी अन्य व्यक्ति को आपकी बर्थ आवंटित कर सकता है। एक बार जब ट्रेन आगामी स्टेशनों या समयरेखा को पार कर जाती है तो टीटीई अगले आरएसी यात्री को सीट आवंटित करने के लिए स्वतंत्र और अधिकृत होता है।
खोए हुए टिकटों की वापसी नीति
अगर आपने अपनी आगामी यात्रा टिकट को खो दिया है। तो आपको आपकी योजनाबद्ध यात्रा जारी रखने के लिए डुप्लिकेट टिकट प्राप्त करने का विकल्प है। डुप्लिकेट टिकट प्राप्त करने के लिए आपको बोर्डिंग स्टेशन पर मुख्य आरक्षण पर्यवेक्षक को एक लिखित आवेदन देना होगा और डुप्लिकेट टिकट जारी करने का अनुरोध करना चाहिए। आवेदन के साथ आपको अपने/यात्री पहचान पत्र की फोटो कॉपी ले जानी चाहिए। यह आपको आवेदन के साथ संलग्न करने के लिए कहा जा सकता है। यह टिकट यात्रा समय के 24घंटे से पहले जारी किया जा सकता है। सभी सत्यापन के बाद डुप्लीकेट टिकट न्यूनतम शुल्क के साथ जारी किया जाएगा। एक बार टिकट जारी किया जाता है उसी पर आगे कोई बदलाव नहीं होगा।
एक और बात कि खोए हुए या गलत टिकट पर कोई रिफंड नहीं मिलता है।
ट्रेन यात्रा में पालतू जानवरों को ले जाने के नियम
हां, आप अपनी यात्रा में पालतू जानवरों को अपने साथ ले जा सकते हैं, लेकिन उन्हें ले जाने के लिए कुछ नियम हैं।
कुत्ते - यदि आप प्रथम श्रेणी के एसी डिब्बे में यात्रा कर रहे हैं तो कुत्तों को आपके साथ यात्रा करने की अनुमति है। जहां एक कुत्ते को आपके करीब रखा जा सकता है। यदि आप किसी अन्य श्रेणी के साथ यात्रा कर रहे हैं तो इसे सामान के रूप में रखा जाएगा और ब्रेक या सामान कार में यात्रा की अनुमति दी जाएगी। उन्हें किसी अन्य कोच में अनुमति तभी दी जा सकती है, जब उसे किसी नेत्रहीन व्यक्ति की आंखों की तरह देखा जाता है। आपको साथी यात्रियों की सहमति लेनी होगी। लेकिन आपको यह सुनिश्चित करना होगा कि यह सह-यात्रियों के लिए उपद्रव का कारण नहीं होना चाहिए। ट्रेन में कुत्ते को ले जाने के लिए आपको अपने कुत्ते के लिए पार्सल कार्यालय से बुकिंग स्लिप लेनी होगी। यात्रा पर जाते समय यह पर्ची आवश्यक है। शुल्क कुत्ते के आकार पर 10 रुपये से लेकरअधिक तक हो सकता है।
पक्षी - आपको नियमित कोच में यात्रा करते समय अपने साथ एक पक्षी ले जाने की अनुमति नहीं है। आपके पक्षी को माल के रूप में माना जाएगा और सामान वैन में रखा जाएगा। आपको एक फॉर्म भरना होगा जहां आपको पक्षियों के बारे में विवरणों का उल्लेख करना होगा जैसे कि पक्षियों की संख्या, मूल्य, पिंजरे के आकार आदि | एक मालिक के रूप में, यह आपकी जिम्मेदारी है कि आप पारगमन में भोजन और पानी प्रदान करें। नोट: भारतीय रेलवे विदेशी पक्षी प्रजातियों के परिवहन की अनुमति नहीं देता है जो इस श्रेणी में आती है।
