हिन्दू धर्म में वैसे तो कई त्यौहार मनाये जाते हैं | इन त्योहारों में से एक रथ यात्रा भी है | यह त्यौहार प्रति वर्ष में एक बार मनाया जाता है | यह त्यौहार मुख्यतः ओडिशा के शहर पुरी में मनाया जाता है | इस रथ यात्रा में भगवान बलराम, श्री सुभद्रा और भगवान जगन्नाथ जी की रथ यात्रा निकली जाती है | यह उत्सव १० दिन तक मनाया जाता है | यह त्यौहार यहाँ का सबसे बड़ा त्यौहार माना जाता है और बड़े ही धूम धाम से मनाया जाता है | इस रथ यात्रा के उत्सव में दुनिया के कोने- कोने से लोग इस यात्रा में भाग लेने और भगवान के दर्शन करने के लिए पहुंचते हैं |  रथ यात्रा पर्व आषाढ़ मास शुक्ल पक्ष की द्वितीया तिथि से प्रारम्भ हो कर दशमी तिथि तक मनाया जाता है | वैसे इस रथ यात्रा की तैयारी हर वर्ष बसंत पंचमी से ही शुरू कर दी जाती है | इस तैयारी में मुख्यतः रथ का निर्माण कार्य होता है | रथ यात्रा के लिए चुनिंदा नीम के पेड़ों को काट कर उनकी लकड़ियों से ही रथ तैयार किया जाता है | चुनिंदा पड़े अर्थात जिन पेड़ों में किसी तरह की गंदगी न हो, उसमे किसी तरह की कील या लोहे की धातु न ठोके गए हों | इस रथ यात्रा के निमार्ण के दौरान किसी तर

TDS literally means completely dissolved cold substance, that is, a matter which dissolves in water. The amount of TDS in water is measured in milligrams/litre or per million pieces. Salinity in water is mainly due to magnesium chloride, calcium and magnesium sulfate. Some quantity of substances found in water is fixed.  The World Health Organization has set certain standards in relation to water. Among them, BIAS 10500-161 is applicable in our country. नाग पंचमी हिंदू धर्म का एक बड़ा त्योहार है। यह त्योहार श्रावण मास की शुक्ल पक्ष की पंचमी तिथि को मनाया जाता है। अँग्रेज़ी महीने के हिसाब से यह जुलाई मध्य या अगस्त प्रथम साप्ताह में आता है। इस दिन भगवान शंकर और नाग/ साँप देवता की पूजा की जाती है और उन्हे दूध से नहलाया जाता है ताकि उनके परिवारों को सांपों के खतरे से मुक्ति मिल सके। कहीं-कहीं उन्हे दूध पिलाया भी जाता है। हिंदू ग्रंथों में इस दिन का बहुत बड़ा महत्व माना गया है इस दिन आठ नाग या अष्टनाग की पूजा की जाती है । ये आठ नाग या अष्टनाग निम्न है वासुकी, कालिया, तक्षक, ऐरावत, धृतराष्ट्र, मनिभद्रक, धनंजय और कार्कोटक। यह त्योहार भारत, नेपाल और जहाँ हिंदू धर्म के अनुयायी रहते है वहाँ मनाया जाता है।  इस दिन भगवान शिवऔर सांपों की पूजा दूध, मिठाई, फूल, दीपक और कहीं-कहीं बलि के साथ की जाती है। चांदी, पत्थर, लकड़ी या चित्रों से बने नाग या नाग देवता को पहले पानी और दूध से नहलाया जाता है। फिर उनकी पूजा की जाती है। इस दिन उपवास भी रखा जाता है और ब्राह्मणों को भोजन कराया जाता है। इस दिन कई स्थानों पर असली साँपों की पूजा की जाती है और मेले लगते है
